How to get a document held by a Sudoc Library?

I am looking for a document held by a library part of the Sudoc network and I would like to have a copy or apply for an InterLibrary Loan.

ABES is not a library but hosts the union catalogue SUDOC for Higher Education and Research institutions. Therefore, we do not provide the public with any kind of documents. Documents part of the Sudoc catalogue are held by libraries members of the Sudoc network.

How to get a print or a digital copy?

If you are a member of an academic institution please contact the InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service of your library.
If you are a member of the general public, please contact the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service of the French library that holds the document you are looking for and see whether they can help you.

How to know whether a document is available for loan and how to get the library’s details?

From the bibliographic record of the item, click on “Where to find this document?” then select one of the listed libraries and click on the +. The information displayed will tell you whether the document is available for ILL (“Disponible pour le PEB”) or not (Non disponible pour le PEB”).
Then click on the library’s name to display information about the library.

You may also consult the online help available in English: click on "Help" then "Perform a search operation" chapter 4 - Presentation of results / Finding where the document is held.
